Realme P4 Power: Huge Battery and New Technology




Battery technology has improved very quickly in recent years. In just two or three years, Silicon-Carbon (Si/C) batteries have become popular in smartphones. These batteries can store more energy than traditional lithium-ion batteries.

The Realme P4 Power is a good example of this new technology. It comes with a huge 10,001 mAh battery, which is almost twice the size of the usual 5,000 mAh smartphone battery.

Even with such a large battery, the phone is not extremely thick or heavy. It is 9.1 mm thick and weighs 219 grams. So, it is still comfortable enough to use.

Realme also says the battery can last for many years. With normal use, the company expects the battery to keep around 80% of its original capacity after 8 years. The Si/C battery technology is also more durable than traditional batteries.

The phone supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. It can charge up to 50% in about 36 minutes. Since the battery is 10,001 mAh, 50% charge means around 5,000 mAh—almost the full battery capacity of many regular smartphones.

The phone can also charge other devices. It supports up to 27W output, so it can work like a power bank when needed.

Realme has not focused only on the battery. The P4 Power also has some impressive hardware. It combines features from the Realme P4 and P4 Pro.

The phone has a 6.8-inch OLED display with a very smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It also uses the Dimensity 7400 chipset and camera hardware from the Realme P4.

Overall, the Realme P4 Power is not just about having a huge battery. It offers long battery life, fast charging, durable battery technology, a high-refresh-rate OLED display, and good performance.

The big question now is whether the phone offers enough other features to make it more than just a smartphone with a huge battery.
