The female boss promised chocolates but surprised all the office employees by giving them iPhones

A Dubai-based businesswoman wanted to play a small prank on her employees by handing out chocolate. But when they opened the packages, some found brand-new iPhone 18s, while others found large chocolate bars. The employees who received chocolates were later given new iPhones as well. The unusual initiative, aimed at retaining top-performing employees, has gone viral on social media.

After a video of UAE businesswoman Hasina Nishad giving new iPhone 18s to some of her employees went viral, she said that keeping employees happy and maintaining close relationships with them is one of the core principles of their company.

“Employees are our strength. Without them, none of our progress would be possible. That is why, from the very beginning, my husband and I have made investing in our employees a priority,” World Star Holding Managing Director Hasina Nishad told Khaleej Times.

Hasina runs the company together with her husband, Nishad Hussain. The company’s chairman, Nishad Hussain, is involved in manpower supply services.

Earlier this week, Nishad was seen distributing packages among several employees. The video later went viral. Half of the packages contained brand-new iPhone 18s, while the other half contained large chocolate bars.

After everyone opened their packages, Hasina came forward. She then gifted a new phone to each of the employees who had received chocolates.

“These gifts were for our 12 best-performing employees,” Hasina said. “The chocolates were part of a little prank we had planned. However, while I was there, I noticed that none of those who received chocolates were disappointed. They happily accepted whatever they received. Of course, when we gave them the phones later, they were extremely happy. Seeing the joy on their faces was a gift for us.”
